The K.I.D.S. Day Camp for children with Juvenile Diabetes was started in 1988 by Mary Jackson to create a safe camping experience for her son. Since then, a team of volunteers has continued to assist Mary in the camper experience.
When Mary decided to retire, the members of Kiwanis stepped up. As a group dedicated to children and a long time supporter of K.I.D.S. Day Camp, we hope to continue Mary’s legacy.
The K.I.D.S. Day Camp is set for June 9-13, at Camp Preston Hunt. If you have a child diagnosed with Type I Diabetes, and are interested in sending them to camp, please complete the form below. Campers must be between ages 6-18 at time of camp. We will contact you to gain more information about your child.
