The Texas Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation recently awarded 21 scholarships totaling $31,500 to Key Club seniors at LEDCON in Dallas (Annual District Key Club Convention ). The top three students, with continued good grades, have an option of another $15,000 in awards. Konrad Brandemuhl (pictured far right) is President of the Foundation, and our Foundation Trustee for Region 7 is past club president, Monty Murry (pictured far left). The top winner, receiving $8000 paid out over four years, is from our own Division 13, Chesney Long from Haworth High School – SLP of Idabel Kiwanis Club. Kiwanis Club of Texarkana donates $10 per member each year to the Foundation.
